After owning a scrapbooking store in Maryland for 8 years, I just couldn't get out of the business when I closed it in July 2011. I continue to teach card classes in the community and create my works of art at home. I also organize weekend crops in Easton, St. Michaels, and Ocean City, Maryland. I love scrapbooking, rubberstamping, and chirping on my Cricut. Stop by often and see what I'm working on!

Love from the Kitchen Card
My aunt made this card for card swap. I love it! It would be perfect for adding to a package of cookies for Valentine's Day.

Cricut Valentine's Day Card using Stretch Your Imagination Cartridge
This was my swap card for this month. I CASE'd it from the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog. Do you know what CASE stands for? Copy And Steal Everything....haha! It's not cheating! I was really stumped for an idea and love how this turned out. The tree is from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut Cartridge. The tiny hearts are a punch, and the sentiment is from the Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I also love how it's springy looking....I'm ready for spring! This could also be stamped with other sentiments and doesn't necessarily have to be for Valentine's Day.

More Overlay Scrapbooking Layouts
Here are some more overlays that are perfect for getting lots of pictures scrapped in a hurry! One of my customers had stacks and stacks of photos from a Lady GaGa themed dance recital. Using the overlays was a great way to get through the photos quickly. I forgot to mention in the first post that I cut these using a Pazzles Creative Cutter Pro. I sell them at crops, but I don't have them available in my Ebay store yet...sorry! If you're interested in them, email me.
The above layout features 9 octagons. It's similar to the circle layout, but gives you room between the shapes for embellishing.

Circle Overlay Scrapbooking Layout
I'm a little behind getting this posted, but since the February Weekend Crop is quickly approaching, I wanted to get these posted! At the November Weekend Crop the free layout was a Fall themed circle overlay layout. When I showed the ladies this great way to scrap a ton of photos in a short amount of time, they started having me cut lots of them!
It's difficult to see in this photo, but the circles are cut out of the green cardstock. The black cardstock is the background. Laurie used the Creative Memories circle cutter to crop her photos a little smaller than the circles in the overlay so that there is a black border around all of the photos. If you count, she got 14....yes 14 photos! on these two pages. She used 4 of the circles to add embellishments. Good job Laurie!

Snowman Christmas Cards
We made these two cards in a class a few years ago, but they are still two of my favorites! The snowglobe was stamped, colored, then run through the Xyron up side down (so the sticky is on the front.) Then I pressed it into superfine clear glitter. It looks awesome! I'm sorry that you can't see it better in the picture. I treated myself to a new camera this week, so I'm hoping my photos get better soon! Merry Christmas to me!!! Unfortunately, I forgot to by an SD card for the camera so I haven't been able to play with it yet.
